I had to remove apps due to malware problem. I am trying to reinstall my Fitbit app and it shows in Google Play that it's already installed. When I try to reinstall again, I get a message that it will install soon. How do I get the app back on my phone?

@SheilaP25 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that you can't setup the Fitbit app on your phone. Do you see the option to remove the app either on your phone's settings or on Google Play if you do then uninstall it and reinstall it again. If you don't then due to the issue you described with your phone the best thing would be to factory reset your phone (but this is up to you).

I didn't have to do a factory reset (thank goodness, I was trying to avoid that).But I went into my settings, apps and Google Play Store and had to Clear Data. That resolved the issue. Thanks for your reply!

Thank you for your suggestion I hesitated to clear data after the little warning that popped up,but I did it and then immediately I was able to download the app again, and all my Fitbit information was there!
