Had an Alta HR for Xmas and can't get it to set up. Have been trying for days and seems just to be getting worse. Have tried uninstalling app, resetting tracker, setting up new account, adding it as a new device everything!!!!!!! The tracker won't display anything but www.fitbit.com/setup and won't connect to phone. The phone app says there is a firmware update available but won't do it. Don't know what else to do. Please help.

Let me help you figure out what is going on.
What mobile device are you using to run the setup? Is it a compatible device? If no, that could explain it is not working properly since unsupported devices are not properly optimized for everything to work.
