Hi all,
I just received my fibit Charge 2 and am new to the world of smart software. So far I failed to setup the watch (both phone and watch are powered up, the bluetooth connection is switched on - in fact my device car pair with the watch, but not through the application). I tried the classic "reboot/reset" operation, but so far I find myself out of luck. During my last attempt, the name of the Charge 2 (as seen by the bluetooth controler) became "L3AH3ah?l'DL?A??A", or something of the sort...
My phone constructor (Cubot) does not provide any Android update past the version mentioned in the title.
Any ideas ?
Thanks you in advance for you time and help.

@illioren, the old Android 4.X OS is no longer supported by the new Fitbit app, so you won't be able to successfully set it on that phone.

Hi Larry, Thank you for your answer.
I was actually able to set it up without issue on my old android 4.4.4 Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
So the OS version (at least for the major version) doesn't seem to be much of the issue here 😞
