Can't setup Versa with Google Pixel 3

I have tried all the steps on these forums over the past 3 days and still cannot set up my versa to the Pixel 3.   It connects and sync instantly with an iPhone just not with the Pixel 3 

- The phone is up to date 

- The App is up to date 

- The Versa is full charged and connected

- Bluetooth is on and nothing else is paired
