Can't sign into app on Android

Hi, after updating the app on my Galaxy 9 I cannot log into it anymore. I was signed out and when I go to sign in, it says invalid username or password. I tried to reset my password and I get an error that says access denied and my ip address was banned. I tried again and then I got another error that said network operation failed and fitbit is unavailable. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that you're receiving such error messages while trying to login. If possible, please send me some screenshots of the error messages you're receiving. Also, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Keep me posted and let me know f you have any additional questions.
