Can't sync Zip with Samsung S8

I updated my android software several days ago and since then I'm having trouble syncing my Zip with my Fitbit app. And yes, I've already made sure the bluetooth is on, location is on, permissions are on, etc etc etc, I've even changed the battery on the Zio twice. I've restarted my phone over and over, and turned bluetooth on and off. Many times.

I followed LanuzaFitbit's recommendation and it did resolve MY issue and I can now sync. Update, as with other's experience this fix only worked once and IS NOT a permanent fix :(:(:(

Mine zip still only syncs when I take the battery out and put it back in again. Using a Samsung S8 with the latest software.

Tried it lots of time - not working.  Called and no one knows how to correct - tell me buy new one!!! Not the zip, it is your software issue!  Keep emailing about updates and no answers to resolve it!

They are going to send me a new zip. They are out of grey/black. So I'm
getting magenta. I don't expect it to work. I am thinking they have
discontinued the zip.

Told by fitbit that they are out of stock but will be getting them in...no idea when.My guess is they are re-programming the new ones to sync right!Steve

Told today they quit making zips and wont update existing any zips being used yet!

Fitbit helped me to download Fitbit Desktop app and the Zip will automatically sync with the computer if you have a toggle.

Thats the only way I have been able to get the sync done.  Only with the s8 have I had trouble
