I've just moved from iOS to Android and can't seem to be able to use decimals on app to log weight. Very annoying! Is this an Android thing?

Hi, @Kris85, I have just checked weight logging on my Android app and I am able to use a decimal point. Have you checked that your app is up to date?

Go to the “Play store” and search for the Fitbit app and select “update” if available. If there is no update available I would suggest deleting your app and redownloading it. This won’t cause any data loss, but do make sure that you know the email address and password you used to set up your account.

There's no update option available. I've reinstalled it as well and it's still the same.

Hi, @Kris85 , what phone are you using? I have definitely confirmed I can use decimals on my Samsung S9 using the updated Fitbit app.
Are you logging the weight either by clicking the + on the weight tile on the home screen or by the + on the weight screen?

Hi, @Kris85 , can you post a screen shot?
Here is mine (I didn’t want to share horrible body fat!)

So if I try to press a comma or a full stop after the 12, nothing happens

Ah, okay, thanks for sharing your screen shot, which makes the problem clear. Fitbit hasn’t really written this properly for stones, because it is basically a US / worldwide device and only UK uses stones.
You are quite right: if your unit is set to stones you cannot use a decimal in the pound section. If you convert it to pounds you can...interestingly, if you enter the decimals when you are in pound mode, even if you convert back to stones, the decimal is retained.
So that is a really annoying work around: set your units to pounds, enter your weight and save, then set it back to stones and your decimal will be preserved.
I *think* but have not recently tested to confirm, that if you have a scale (Fitbit Aria or Withings - there may be others) that automatically update your weight (this is great; I love having that facility) it will log in stones with the decimal.
Sorry not to have a better result for you, but at least the mystery is solved.

Thanks for clarification. It is quite annoying though. I used stones on iOS too, and it did allow me to enter decimals... shouldn't be that hard to fix... I might switch back to kilos though or just round up or down, long term it won't make that much difference...
Thanks again!
