Cannot set up notifications anymore

Afterthe last update, realized that I'm not getting notifications on my Charge 2 anymore. Went back on the option to set it up but although it is enabled and green, I'm not seeing all the options for calls, texts, etc. beneath it. Tried switching it on and off as well as restarting my phone...no luck

Hi @AnneDM!

Glad to read that a reboot resolved the issue. Next time, perhaps we could try to manually restart the Fitbit as a first step. To restart the Charge 2, follow these steps:

  1. Begin charging your Charge 2.
  2. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds while plugged to the cable. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  3. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @AnneDM

The first thing I'd like to have you check is if your mobile device is a compatible device.

If it is, I'd recommend that you try to restart the connection itself. Please try the following steps:

  1. Go into the Bluetooth settings of your mobile and look for your Fitbit.
  2. Remove it from the Bluetooth list devices.
  3. Set up the notifications once again from scratch.

Please let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.

Hi, yes my mobile is compatible since the notifications worked fine up
until the day before I originally posted the issue. Tried your suggestion
also...didn't work 😞

Hey @AnneDM.

I'd like to take a closer look into the situation. Could you please let me know what is the mobile device that you are using? I'll investigate on this.

Look forward to your reply.

I'm using a Samsung J...just some more details...the notifications were
working properly up until the last app update. After this, I realized that
I wasn't getting notifications so i went back into the notification
settings to check on the app. So when I select enable notifications, it
takes me to the option to switch on fitbit notification service. When it's
turned on, the pop up comes up for permission, I select ok but no other
options appear. Before I would've seen calls, text messages, Whatsapp,
etc...but now the rest of the screen is just blank. Hope u can help me
figure this out

Ok...so my charge 2's battery went completely dead last night...recharged it this morning and notifications are back on. Maybe the device itself needed rebooting? But thanks for the help anyway 😊
