Recently, the Quick View menu item for the Charge 2 Android app has started disappearing from the list when I turn off Quick View. To turn Quick View on I have to have an internet connection and go to my Fitbit dashboard to turn it on. Once that is done, then the Quick View menu item will reappear in my Android app, until the next time that I turn it off (which I do every night when I sleep).
This has just started happening which makes me wonder if some lines of code have accidentally been altered.

Hello Ricardo,
I also use the Quick View setting every evening and morning and have for over two years. I used it last night, as usual, to disable while sleeping. However, this morning, the setting was gone.
I tried the steps you provided and the setting option is still missing. I have also confirmed that I am using the most current firmware. I do not know how to use the dash board to turn on the Quickly View, so I am completely without it at this point.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

This morning the entire menu on the Android app where the Quick View toggle was located has disappeared.

My phone app also suffered from the missing quick view toggle. It disappeared approx 10 days ago and so I am unable to make the screen on my charge2 appear - other than with a button press or tap. I liked to use the toggle to switch off quick view at night. At the moment quick view is off - so am unable to switch it back on for daytime use. Help please fitbit!!!

Didn't work for me, either.
Just like others have mentioned, i try to turn off my quick view at night so it won't drain the battery (or wake me up) and then turn back on in the morning.
After a long weekend, went to turn back on today and that option isn't available. It's like we went back to 2015!

Just got a New Phone, Galaxy Note 10. Of course I had to install Fitbit to it. A couple weeks has gone by and I realized my Versa battery was needing recharged one to two days earlier than normal and due to weather have been less active so it should last longer. I went in and turned off all extras, such as notifications, tips and alerts. Still did not help. Then I noticed the Quick look feature was erratic. It would come on anytime I moved my arm or wrist and it was not in viewing range. Then when I needed to see the screen I had to go through all kinds of gyrations to get it to come on when it was in viewing range. Did not make sense. So I turned Quick View off. It immediately disappeared from my phone settings as an option. I have to go to my Laptop browser and sign into my Dashboard to get to the setting. This is inconvenient. My idea was, when I turned it off, was that I would just turn it back on when I go out for a hike and turn it back off when done. I cannot do this now. Turning off quick view did solve the battery drain. I can only assume that I got the latest and greatest software version when I installed it onto my new phone, this is also when the battery drain began. What happened? I can only speculate that the battery drain is due to something gone haywire with the Quick View software, that it would randomly come on when I don't need it and not come on when I do need it. Changing Clock faces makes no difference. Only the Quick View did. I would like to see this random on issue fixed and I want my toggle back! Thank you, Diana

I turned off the Quick View in the app and it also disappeared from the menu on my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy A50 android.

Pareil, j'ai désactivé la vue rapide dans l'application il y a 10 jours et elle a également disparu du menu de mon téléphone. Impossible de remettre !

You can just go to the fitbit website on your browser and login from there.
After that you can go into the settings of your tracker and you will get the option of quick view there.
Just turn it on and then check your android application, it should appear there as well.

Yes, there are alternate ways to toggle it off and on, but that is not the point, I believe I said I could do that. It is still a pain to toggle the Quick view. I must switch between the web site and the phone app. I should be able to toggle The Quick view off and on, right in the Fitbit App. It stopped being able to toggle back and forth, from the app after a software update (Toggles OFF from the app but disappears and now must go to the Website to switch back ON.) Also, after the update the watch's battery life is significantly reduced. Instead of 3-5 days between charges, with all the bells and whistles activated, to only 1.5 -2 days between charges, with all bells and whistles off. I toggle the Quick view off when I am not on a hike, so it doesn't reduce the battery further. Since this update the Quick view has been erratic in its functionality as well. Comes on at the slightest movement but not when I deliberately make the movement that is supposed to activate it. An update came down since my first post and no, they did not fix either issue. My device by the way is a Versa 2.
