Charge 2 doesn't sync

I can't get my Charge 2 to sync. When i first tried pair it, it wouldn't, so i paired it with my old phone, and it worked, after a while. When i added silent alarms to my fitbit om my new phone, it synced, but it hasn't worked since.
I am aware of that my phone model is not on the list of supported devices (huawei honor 5c/7 lite) , BUT it worked perfectly with my Charge HR, it hasn't never been å problem before now.
I have tried to reset it, turn bluetooth off and on, restart phone, reinstall app, you name it. Still can't sync..
I appriciate any tips i can't get:)

@LivHege Welcome to the Fitbit Community! That is very strange! Usually when a phone model is not under the list of supported devices; it won't work. However, you had it working before so I recommend trying these syncing tips found on this syncing master post my friend @HelenaFitbit. After that, it should work. If not, it is possible that the phone model is no longer supported. Try those steps! Smiley Happy

Let me know how  it goes!

I have tried everything.. When i first paired it with the fitbit app (android), i wouldn't work on my honor 5, so i had to connect it with my old phone, xperia Z (supported), and it seems like i have to continue to sync ut with my old phone. My Charge HR still works perfectly though.. would it be a waste of time to replace the Charge 2, do you think the problem lies in the tracker? It just seems so odd, since the new tracker workes with my old phone, and my old tracker workes with my new phone...😂 I just want it to work, i love my fitbit!

I see someone reporting Charge 2 not syncing after last update. I upadated my app the same Day, before i paired my Charge 2. Maybe i just need a new update? Any clue when it's coming? 🙂

This is what I had to do.

1. Backup everything on my phone (Samsung Galaxy III)

2. Rest the the operating system (OS) to factory default

3. Download Samsung Kies from the Samsung website (I think your phone would require Kies3, read the instructions)

4. Install Kies on my PC

5. Use Kies to force my phone to update the OS to the newest version

6. Install fitbit app from google-play

7. Connect

The issue is if the OS is old, google-play downloads the a compatible fitbit app version. That version may not be new enought to connect to the Charge 2.

Thank you for trying to help me, i really appriciate it! My phone has the latest update and is rynning android version 6.0, so i dont think thats the issue. I've now upadated the app, and the tracker software, aaand....nothing. guess i'll just keep using my old phone every other day or so, to sync. At last that still works 🙂
