Charge 2 not charging

My charge 2 got misplaced and the battery is dead...I tried charging it last night and just got home. It doesnt seem to have charged.. when u put it on the charger should u see the battery or will it not show up till there is life in the battery.. I'm afraid it may not work bc I've not let it die b4.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

If it has been misplaced for a while, it may take up to an hour on its charger before you will see signs of life.
