Good day, I have had my Charge 2 for almost 4 months but it just suddenly stopped syncing on my android phone.

I tried re-installing the app and also removing and adding the device again but now it doesnt even want to add the device.

The device is working fine, just doesnt want to connect and sync

Mine too, stopped syncing last week, but will sync on my tablet, I've tried replacing it but doesn't work * says I've been timed out!!

Same here. Has been happening more frequently in the last month or so. Restarting bluetooth usually helps but hasn't worked this time. Tried restarting phone, reinstalling app, etc.

FIXED!!!

Mine too. Worked great until Monday when last synced at 4:25pm.

Restarted wi-fi, bluetooth, phone.

Updated the app - no sync.

Uninstalled the app and reinstalled - no sync.

Phone did a software update last night and now this morning its syncing. Not sure if it was the update or the hard reboot that came with it but fixed!!

Fixed!

So, I decided to use my tablet to sync the Charge 2. All of a sudden, a notification popped up on my phone saying that I earned a badge. My phone hasn't been able to sync it for two months. It is working on my phone and tablet. I'm surprised.

I have tried all the steps listed in this thread and others online. It appears that this is a widespread issue. Many people are reporting the same issue. I have not been able to sync to my phone or tablet. Any additional suggestions?

Welcome to the Forums @Najanne.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for trying all of the steps that have been recommended.

To better understand the situation I'd like to ask what phone is it that you are using at the time? It could lead to an explanation as to what is going on.

Look forward to your reply.

Hello, I fixed the app today. I forced it to quit in the settings mode and then held the button on the Fitbit while it was charging for 10 seconds.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device

Hello @Najanne and @ktushaus.

Thanks for bringing that up and sharing those details.

@Najanne Glad to read that those steps got your Fitbit to work correctly. If you have the time, maybe you could visit one of our Discussion boards. Lots of different topics to talk about with other users.

@ktushaus Did you get a chance to try the steps I recommended previously?

Look forward to your reply.

Hello @ktushaus.

Thanks for trying those steps to get your Fitbit to sync again.

Since those steps didn't work then I'd like to ask you to try to run the set up as if you had a replacement device. That should help so that it starts syncing once again.

Let me know if you goes or if you have any further questions.

Hello @ktushaus.

I will be happy to do so.

They should be in the article I shared but let me post the specific steps in here.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon (on the top-right corner of the app)
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

That should do the trick in this case.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.

Hello @ktushaus.

Thanks for giving it a shot.

Did it give you any sort of error message? If so, what did it say? Are you getting any of the information from your Fitbit to your account?

Look forward to your reply.
