Charge 2 not receiving notifications from phone Samsung Note 5

I have tried everything I've found on the chats to get the notifications from my phone to appear on my Charge 2 and none have them worked.  The only thing I haven't tried is removing the app and reinstalling it (I'm nervous all my data will be lost). Any other recommendations?

Does your Samsung operate on the Oreo version of the software? (Andriod 😎 if it does have you switched on Fitbit Sync Service notification ? apparently its new to Oreo to make it compatible

you could try to follow my posting in the link below which may help its a bit long winded but I got mine to work (Galaxy S8)

A common cause of this with the Charge 2 is when it is accidentally put into "do not disturb" mode. This is turned on / off by pressing and holding the button on the Charge 2. Could this be the problem here?

Hello Wayne,
It says my Android version is 7.1.  I don't know of that is the same thing as Oreo, but I'll read your thread and see if it helps.
Thank you
