Charge 2 not showing in Bluetooth to pair

I recently got a new phone (Samsung galaxy A71) and I've been trying to pair it to my charge 2 with no luck.  At first my Bluetooth read that things like my car were connected to my previous phone but the charger 2 wasn't even showing up. I have tried everything from checking updates,  restarting phone and unpairing from my other phone.  Today i noticed It is finally synching to my new phone, but it still won't show under my Bluetooth to pair. I even clicked mobile tracking in the fitbit app and nothing new showed under Bluetooth. I dont think it should make a difference that my previous phone was an iPhone but i hope thats not the issue.

@kwcd20 Hi there. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

I appreciate that you shared the phone model that you have. Keep in mind that with Android phones, your app needs to run in the background in order to keep you connected with certain Fitbit app features such as automatic syncing, connected GPS, and app notifications from your phone.

Please double check that the Fitbit app is running in the background and check the tips for using the app with and Android phone in this article.

When pairing your tracker to your phone's Bluetooth, it needs to be on "pair mode" and this will help you control your music. Learn more about it by checking this article How do I control music with my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.
