Charge 2 not synching

Have an Android phone.  Was synching fine up to 2 days ago.  I'm connected to WiFi and bluetooth is on as is location setting.  It fails when trying 'Synch now'  I noticed it says an software update is available, but it fails when trying to update the Fitbit app on the phone.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

I have ALWAYS had trouble with sync on an android.  I frequently reboot phone to force sync.  At times I can get away with turning off bluetooth, waiting a few moments, then turning it back on.  This has to be done with the app closed, not just in background.  I open the app again after turning bluetooth back on.  Good luck. It is incredibly frustrating.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try your technique in the future.... After posting the original query, I called fitbit tech support and after trying to restart bluetooth, reset fitbit, etc... he determined my Galaxy 6 was 'not a compatible device' and didn't have any other recommendations. I asked if the fitbit app worked on a laptop and he checked and mine was compatible. So I was able to install the fitbit app on my laptop and so I can synch once again. I also subsequently checked my phone and it informs me it last synched 'a moment ago' so go figure. Anyway, I'm back in business and between my two devices should have enough redundancy to synch to my dashboard.

The same exact thing happened to me.  Mine has worked fine for almost 2 years.  Thursday was the last day that it would sync.  I have tried everything!  Now my phone sees it, but it will not connect.  It is connected to my laptop but I cannot figure out how to sync in.  Suggestions???  Please help!
