Is there any new updates for this? Tried everything from disabling background and battery optimization and resetting fitbit and reintalling fitbit app but it is still not working. Bluetooth isnt pairing.

Welcome to the Forums @Yrovi.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing everything that you have already tried.
This seems to be happening because the A7 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

My Samsung A7 (2018) was syncing fine until August when there was a firmware update for the Charge 2. This failed and syncing stopped soon after. I have tried all your recommendations, without success. When re adding the device, it is detected, and the 4 digit code appears on the screen. Inputting this into the app seems to work until I get a Failure message on the app. I have tried connecting to a Windows 10 laptop, and don't even get to the code. Any other suggestions????
