Charge 2 has suddenly stopped syncing with my S8 phone, worked fine up until i tried syncing this morning and now it just sits and spins for a while and then gives up, no error messages or anything. I've tried forcing the app shut and restarting etc but still nothing.

When you say you have tried restarting, do you mean both the phone and fitbit?
The restart procedure for the Charge 2 (see link below) doesn't always work so it's worth trying this a few times
