Charge 2 not syncing with Samsung S8

Charge 2 has suddenly stopped syncing with my S8 phone, worked fine up until i tried syncing this morning and  now it just sits and spins for a while and then gives up, no error messages or anything. I've tried forcing the app shut and restarting etc but still nothing.

When you say you have tried restarting, do you mean both the phone and fitbit? 

 

The restart procedure for the Charge 2 (see link below) doesn't always work so it's worth trying this a few times

I've tried this 4 times and still no joy unfortunately

Same thing with my Samsung. Tried restarting phone and tracker. Next step customer service

I've now made the mistake of unpairing the charge 2 thinking I'd try and reset and pair it again and I still can't get it to reset so am now completely unable to pair it back to my account
