I have a Google Pixel phone and a Fitbit Charge 2. I know the Pixel isn't a supported device but have read some testimony that folks have been able to get text and call notifications to work. I have updated the Fitbit AP, turned on notifications on the device, turned on notifications on the Fitbit application, and reset both my phone and the charge 2 as well as closed out of the Fitbit application and reopened it. I am getting the TEST notifications, but no calls or text notifications. My main messaging app is Messenger via Facebook. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately all you can do is follow the syncing guides and hope for the best. My Moto Z is also an unsupported device, I think part the reason is due to Android Nougat.
Notifications don't work with my Moto Z, syncing is intermittent and I experience lots of sync errors and bluetooth issues.
Best of luck.

A warm welcome to the Forums @Jquack thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself and @Dragonfruit for stopping by.
Since your phone is not supported, you might experience some inconveniences. You can try to follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.
Catch you later. ![]()
