Charge 2 will not pair to Samsung Galaxy J4+

I have been trying for 3 days.

Have restarted device, restarted phone, switched Bluetooth off and on, reinstalled the app.

Completed the above numerous times.

Bluetooth sees the device and I receive the 4 digit code on the device. Just keeps showing "connecting".

Keep receiving a notification message "LastSynced: Unavailable "

Thanks for sharing your feedback on the matter and your interest in seeing that phone added to the list.

At this moment we do not have any news of when that phone will be added to the list. Having said that, maybe you could support this suggestion about adding the J4. You can comment on it or vote for it to support the idea. If you do visit that board, be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.

Welcome to the Forums @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for sharing those details on the matter.

This might be happening because the Galaxy J4 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the set up.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

This renders the fitbit useless. I've not been able to use mine since January,  may as well throw it in the bin. Not acceptable that fitbit does not keep up with new technology as phones are constantly being changed/updated.

When I got my new Samsung A20e a few week ago it connected with my charge2 with out any problems. I went away for a few days, leaving my charge2 at home. Since returning I have unable to reconnect with the fit bit. Any suggestions?

Mine worked before I went overseas for couple weeks.  Worked perfectly.  Now that I have returned, my watch wont pair with my phone.  Nothing had changed.  I'm fed up, watch is now a waste of money!!
