According to the online list, the Pixel 3 is compatible. The phone can "see" the Charge 2 but will not pair with it. I've tried reinstalling the app, turned my bluetooth on and off again, disconnected all my other bluetooth devices, tried letting the Charge 2 die and then recharging it. And.... nothing, it still won't pair. Can someone help me please?

Hi @Kristy.W.. It's nice to see a new face around the Forums.
Thanks for verifying your phone's compatibility and the steps tried prior posting. Let me help you to get your Charge 2 connected. Before anything else, yesterday we released the Fitbit app 3.9.1 version and although you tried to reinstall it, please verify if you have that version installed.
Besides that, I'd recommend to try the following in the given order:
If you get an error message, take a screenshot and share it with me as that will help me to continue investigating.
Keep me posted.

Hi,
I tried all of the aforementioned steps and yet it is not connecting. It keeps saying "try again" on my phone when it is searching for my charge 2.
It is connecting to other iPhones but not to me Pixel 3.

Hi @kinjalshah, welcome to the Community Forums!
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

Your update is appreciated @kinjalshah.
Seems odd that you're still experiencing difficulties even after trying the troubleshooting steps that were shared on this thread, your effort is really appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you're using another Bluetooth device with your phone that can cause interference with the setup process? I suggest you to try to setup your Charge 2 with no other Bluetooth devices nearby your Google Pixel 3 to avoid connection difficulties. You can also try restarting your device but if the issue persists, please try with another mobile device and let me know if you experience the same.
Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks for your reply @kinjalshah.
I'm happy to know that after trying with an iPhone XS Max the issue was resolved. Since you were able to setup the Charge 2 with your account, please try to sync it with your Google Pixel 3 and let me know if the issue persists. Please check how the syncing procedure works here and if you experience issues with the process, please check:: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around if further assistance is needed.

I know this is a bit old but I found a fix that worked when nothing on this page did:
I have my old IPhone still, I redownloaded the app, signed in, paired my watch with it, turned off my IPhone's bluetooth, then pressed sync on my Pixel 3 and it worked!
I tried every fix on this thread and several others and none of them worked, this did. Even if you borrow an Iphone from a friend I hope this helps!

Thank you so much for posting this!! I was getting so fed up because none of the suggestions were working. Just needed an iphone to do the update and now it works on my Pixel!

DON'T USE BLUETOOTH TO PAIR!!!
The thing I was doing wrong FOR MONTHS (on and off) was trying to connect via my android's bluetooth connection. The proper way to connect is via the app, NOT the phone's bluetooth settings.
Weird because every other bluetooth appliance connects that way. I'm sure this is in the manual somewhere and obvious once you know it, but it seems to me it should be the first instruction in these forums.

Hi @LizzyFitbit
I tried all the above steps, and my Fitbit (charge 2) still will not pair with my Pixel 3. I keep getting "Not Working?" My Fitbit tracker is charged and turned on. There are no other trackers nearby, and I turned off and turned back on the Bluetooth on my mobile device.
Please assist.

It's happening the same to me. I already tried all that procedure. How could you solve this?

Thank you Caity for being so persistent about it and posting the solution. I will borrow an iPhone to try it.

After weeks trying to (re)pair my FitBit Charge 2 with my Pixel 3 to no success, I finally found this post with the great idea of using an iPhone as a mediator. It worked like a charm! Thank you for sharing this information.

Hi All
This sounds like a great solution, sadly I have no access to a 'spare' iphone to carry this out. I'm experiencing the exact same situation. When I try to pair my device, I get the 4 digit number, then when i enter it into the app, I just get the'connecting' wheel and then "Not Working?"
I've bee through all the steps multiple times, reinstalled the app, restarted the device, cleared old bluetooth connections, switched off all bluetooth devices nearby, still nothing, Anyone know how to sort this without an intermediary device??
Seems a bit crazy to need an extra phone to get your device to work?
Thanks in advance
Matt

Same problem here with the Pixel 3 and the Charge 2. Get to the code screen, enter it and then the Try Again screen pops up. No other blue too stuff in the house, nothing. Only other thing I have is an old Lenovo laptop. Why should I have to find another phone to do this. Any other solutions would be appreciated.

Explain how you did this. My Pixel keeps asking me for permission to turn on the bluetooth, it will not proceed without that permission. Where in the app did you find the connection sections. Thanks.

I am having same problem. My fitbit was paired fine with my old Samsung phone, now it won't pair to my Pixel 3. I get the code, enter it, searches and then over and over again, just says Keep Trying. This is lame! How to fix it????
