My charge 2 wont sync with my Samsung A10, is there anyway to fix this? I've seen on another post that this model of phone isn't offically compatible, but its Android 9 so I can't see why it doesn't meet the minimum requirements. If it wont work then I will certainly be selling this fitbit and moving away from Fitbit altogether. Any suggestions?

Also had same problem. Just before 11pm on Monday I had last sync. A Google auto update was done around same time.
Had a few problems in October but has been great since then until Monday.

I have A10 also. Quite a recent phone. I had a few problems and was tricky to get it to sync but then it worked perfectly for about 6 weeks until Monday November 18th. Late evening. After 10pm. An auto update was done about same time and not worked synced since. Says device not found.
I borrowed a charge 2 and a family member did some amazing stuff and got it working with my A10 on a previous version. Lasted 1 day. Friday it reverted courtesy of a google update to the latest version and surprise surprise no longer syncing.
I now have one borrowed charge 2 not syncing but comes up with some info not related to what tracker says and then loses it at midnight. A bit like Cinderella but no prince to make it all work. Also battery on original charge 2 still working and borrowed Fitbit gives that info so I cannot tell how much battery left on borrowed one. Life is very frustrating ag the moment. Fitbit you need to get your act together. If you look at multiple threads there are many many different trackers with same problem. I hope we all have some good news soon. Lizzie.h

Same here. Me and my husband both have Fitbit Charge 2s connected to Samsung A10 phones. My husband's phone stopped syncing several days ago. Today, mine also stopped syncing, but I noticed it was immediately after a Fitbit update. I am aware that the A10 is not on the comparability list but we have previously had no major problems. Up to a couple of months ago, I had an old HTC phone which would sync perfectly every time. I have had my Fitbit for 2 years, but it seems such a shame if it has become obsolete due to updating my mobile.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear your fitbit app has also stopped working.
I am wearing my own tracker at the moment which still has 75% battery charge on it. It has been deleted from fitbit as a device and a borrowed charge 2 is connected.to the app. My steps are still being logged on my own tracker and if I swop to wearing the borrowed charge 2 then that logs steps. The 2 trackers keep their own records and cannot combine.
I am puzzled because the battery usage shown on the app is for my own original charge2 which was deleted.but the usage shows on the tracker itself also.
The borrowed tracker does not show battery usage . I have to go but I will be back later.

Very strange @Lizzie.h I've managed to get it sync to my Samsung a6 tablet which is linked to same Google account as phone. Not sure I'll get any notifications if I have texts or calls. Hope they sort it soon, hubby is looking at other devices possibly a Samsung galaxy fit smart watch for me.

Hi.
Glad you are able to sync now. I still think it is all connected with the new release that we all have now. Good luck. Hope it is sorted soon. Still waiting from a fitbit team member to get back to me. I sent a long message yesterday.

Hi
I have been messaging the fitbit team all week.
Mine stopped syncing on November 18th when the new release was updated to our phones. I still believe this is the cause of my syncing problems and probably other stuff as well. Currently awaiting the teams latest reply.
I live in hope they will have a fix update. Maybe admit they have a problem.

Hi glenc919
My A10 hasn't synced since November 18th when Fitbit release 3.10 was updated to my phone overnight. The fitbit team say my A10 has all it needs to work and could work but no guarantee that will work flawlessly.
I figured as it wasn't working with the 3.10 release that I had nothing to lose by allowing the new release 3.11 to update.
As it turns out nothing to gain either because surprise surprise release 3.11 does not allow syncing my charge 2 to my A10 either.
Fitbit team shared with me the information that they are sorry about the syncing trouble since the 3.10 update but they cannot revert back to the prior version which did work. I have let them know 3.11 doesn't fix the syncing either. They are still working on fixing it with a future update. In the meantime they suggest I use another phone which will work. If anything does work I will message again.
I still log into the hustle and weekend warrior challenges with family who have a phone with an old release which works. I just send them message each day within the challenge with how many steps I have completed. I can see their step total updates and they see mine when they get the messages. Best I can do.

Thanks for all the responses guys! Looks as though this won't get resolved by Fitbit/Samsung then, so I guess I will just have to move to a completely different smart watch/tracker that isn't a Fitbit. Unless this is just a ploy to get people to upgrade to a newer fitbit model... 🤔

Hi glenc
There is another message from me after your last one. Please read it. My A10 started syncing this morning. I saw that a Samsung software update had downloaded. When I installed it my fitbit started to sync. I lost 20,000 steps from my Hustle challenge but I am back. Just to be safe I have turned off my auto update. The new fitbit release 3.11 didn't work yesterday. But my A10 has been syncing all day with my charge 2. Whatever was in that Samsung update, thanks Samsung. Fingers crossed it lasts. I hope this helps. Feels great to pass on positive news after weeks of frustration.
