Had my charge3 since November. Finding it pretty much a useless piece of kit (won't use my exact thoughts as I will surely be banned! ). The device fails to sync to my phone for more than a couple of hours, I have given up on that! It syncs to my tablet but that is not really something that makes it easy to use! Most times I am woken in the night at least 4 times by the overly bright screen illuminating when I move. Then the **ahem**ed thing is so dim during the day that it's impossible to read in sunlight. Now has just given up illuminating when showing a half full battery. Real load of tosh that's headed for the bin. Any suggestions on how or even if this can be sorted out. Think it's about the worst thing ever purchased and sadly was a gift too. GRRRRR

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @KarenPach! I'm sorry to hear about your experience with your Charge 3 and I will be glad to assist you with your inquiries.
Cubot Android is not a compatible device. Fitbit is compatible with more than 200 of the most popular Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices. If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.
You can deactivate the screen from lighting automatically at night. Some users have provided feedback regarding the device being dim under sunlight.
Is your battery not charging at all? I'll be waiting for your response.
Thank you for your help @Odyssey13.

Number 1. It's hard to change the clock face if you can't see the screen well enough.
Number 2. Restarting in the manner you suggest does not work either, especially when the display is not bright enough to see. I have tried this in a completely dark room with a magnifying glass, Several times. No Luck.
Number 3. This is my third Fitbit charge, the first one, a Charge or Charge 2 was replaced for the same issue but within the warranty period, it
ultimately died of black screen disease not long after having been received.
This current Fitbit is out of warranty, it was purchased in July 2019. Can you please suggest another type of fix for this?
Thank you,
Laura
