Got the Charge 3 day it was released - from Amazon and I've had numerous syncing issues with it.
I'm on the latest firmware and the latest version of the App. I noticed I hadn't synced sine November 7th according to the app so I tried syncing. Just spins and spins and then quits.
I have tried:
1. Restarting the Charge 3
2. Force closing the app
3. Uninstalling/reinstalling the app
4. Toggling BT on/off after force closing the app
5. Unpairing/repairing the Charge 3 with the app
I'm currently stuck on #5 after putting in the 4 digit code to pair my Charge 3. I have the "Connecting..." text with the whirling circle. Been at it for something like 15 minutes now.
I would really like to get this thing working and syncing all the time. I like it for what it is but the inability to get a solid, reliable sync is INCREDIBLY frustrating. As in, is this worth the time and pain and effort to continue supporting Fitbit rather than ditching for something else. I'm close to being done with it.

Thanks for trying all of those steps to get it to work before posting and letting us know where exactly it is stuck at the moment.
In this case I'd recommend to restart the connection from scratch. To do this you need to go into your S8's Bluetooth settings and look for all Fitbit devices that might show up as paired, or one if you've only had one. Be sure to remove them all from the list and then run the set up process again as if you were using a brand new device.
