Charge 3 unable to pair with Samsung Note 5

My Charge 3 won't pair with my Samsung Note 5. I've tried numerous work around posted on the community but still unable to pair it. It's working perfectly last week, however it stopped pairing this Monday 01-20-2020 when I need to sync my data.

Charge 3 device is listed of available device in my blue tooth, but when I tap on it, it's just displaying "Pairing..." but after a minute or so, it didn't do anything.

- Tried unpairing and reconnecting blue tooth of Charge 3 with Note 5.

- Tried uninstalling and re-installing fitbit app and clearing it's data.

- Tried restarting Charge 3.

Please help, getting frustrated on this.

Hi there @lrdksh28, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot the connectivity issues prior to posting here.

I'd recommend following the steps recommended in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If the syncing difficulties persist after pairing your Charge 3, let's try turning off Background Restrictions/Limitations: Phone settings > Apps & Notifications > Fitbit app > Background restrictions or Background limits.

Then, disable battery limitations:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Advanced > Battery > Battery optimization
  2. Change view to All apps
  3. Search for Fitbit app
  4. Choose Not optimized

Please give the steps above a try to improve syncing with your tracker. Keep me posted, I'll be around.
