Charge 3 won't connect

I can't get my charge 3 to connect to my phone.. it says invalid pin or passcode

Hi @angelsintheweb_  read this article - click to go there - on how to set up. While Fitbit uses bluetooth, it isn't used in the usual way and doesn't require a pin or passcode.

I have to use a pin to connect my charge 3 to the app too. Not that its letting me even get that far to reconnect my fitbit to my phone now. Its pretty useless atm.

My Charge 3 is pretty useless too. I've had two. The first one expired after nine months. The second one has just done the same. Same reason - failure to sync, and failure to set up again. Support seem to be totally unable to find a solution. I have to use a pin to try and re-connect phone and tracker. It doesn't work - you just get to see the little circle of doom spinning round and round for ever.
