Hello, I have the Charge 3. Had it set up on my Samsung s9 a few months ago and it worked perfect. Now that i just upgraded my phone to the s21 ultra it syncs and is connected to my phone but i cannot receive notifications or calls on my Charge 3.

I've Hard reset it multiple times, that didn't work. I've even re-connected it to my account and device and nothing is working. All my app's are up to date and so is my firmware. All my settings are turned on to receive notifications but it is still not working.

Please Help! 😧

@Ski11etFr3ak To find the instructions of what @Rich_Laue has recommended, please see What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

And regarding to your question, yes, let's skip that step and try the rest. 🙂

Hope that does the trick.

Hi there, @Ski11etFr3ak. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 3 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. @Rich_Laue Thanks for trying to help!

It seems that your tracker cannot connect properly to your new phone since you haven't yet forgotten the connection between your Charge 3 and the old phone's Bluetooth which would explain if your Charge 3 expects to receive notifications from your old phone instead of the new one. With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Charge 3 from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Charge 3 again.
  • Set up your notifications again.

How do i go about finding that in the App settings? Cause I've been threw every single setting on the Android app and I cannot find this setting. Please and thank you for the help 🙂

Update: I do not have my old device anymore. And before I gave my old device back to AT&T I factory reset my device. Should I just try to skip that particular step and try the rest?
