My charge 3 ceased to synch with my Android after one month. I did have to turn off the all day sync because it anihalited my phone battery. Anyway after following every advice on fitbit I could find, I could not get it past entering the 4 digit code. It would spin. I thought hey, I have an iPhone for work let's try the iPhone. Same issue. I finally had to go to the settings on the charge 3 itself to clear all of my data thus losing a month of stats. Now it syncs to my droid again. Total pain in the kazoo. I've had this thing to months - it shouldn't be this much brain surgery.

Welcome to the Forums @Lilmissz08.
Thanks for sharing the steps that you tried to get your Charge 3 sync again.
From what you said, it is very possible that what happened is that the Charge 3 bonded with your phone and then the connection was corrupted. This would lead to it not syncing with any other device at all because it bonded to the Android phone, but not syncing to the Android phone because of the corrupted bond. When you factory reset the Charge 3, the connection was severed and restarted from scratch which is why it is now syncing.
What I'd like to mention is that the data that was already synced to your account will not disappear as it is stored in the Fitbit servers and not on the Fitbit itself.
If this were to happen again in the future you can try these steps which would also help it sync:
