My FitBit won't sync with my android phone. It hasn't been used in 2 years. It says I need to update the firmware. When I look at how to update the firmware on the device, it says to sync it to my phone. When I look at how to sync it to my phone it says I need to update the firmware.
Anyone have a work around through the help document's circular logic?

Best AnswerCharge 2. Phone is Pixel 3XL. Phone is up to date. App is up to date. Phone has been restarted. Bluetooth has been restarted.
Best AnswerWas able to get it to work via: youtu.be/YRWh3d3wrYc. Was a massive pain in the **ahem**, definitely makes me less inclined to upgrade to the Charge 4 over another brand of fitness tracker.
