Charge 4 won't sync with phone's Bluetooth

I just got my Charge 4 in the mail today. I set it up (it set up fine in my Pixel 2 phone at this point) & the device wouldn't do anything but stay on the logo set up screen. I trouble shot what to do...restart device, unpair from app and Bluetooth, restart phone. I did all of this and now it won't connect to my phone's Bluetooth. I've tried a bunch of different things, restarting everything, force stopping, using developer options for Bluetooth...nothing is working. Please help! My phone has NO new updates, I just installed the Fitbit app today and the Charge 4 is completely new...how do I fix this without going crazy? I know lots of people are having this issue, but I'm not sure if they have resolved it. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!

UPDATE: Oh Happy Day! I had my Fitbit Charge 4 plugged in overnight. In the morning, I deleted the app on my phone and reinstalled it (not sure if this had anything to do with anything, just reporting the steps I took). I went through the setup process again. It connected to my Google Pixel 2 phone right away & the setup screen on the Fitbit is gone. My Charge 4 is now working! Good luck to everyone else struggling with this issue. Hope my post and update helps other frustrated folks!
