That seems to be the case, if I remember correctly, on the Charge 5, swipe down

Hopefully others will speak up and they will bring the charge percent back. I relied on it to know when I had to recharge.

I agree with all your comments. 

I also relied on it as a reminder to charge. 

But as you know with fitbit no one cares. There like Joe Biden.

I have fitbit notifications going to the watch, and receive notification to charge on my wrist. And phone
