My fitbit stopped synching this morning. I tried restarting the phone, re-setting the tracker etc. to no avail.
I therefore uninstalled and re-installed the android app and now when I try and log in with my email address and password I get an error message saying "Network operation failed. Fitbit.com is down for maintenance"
I can get to fitbit.com from the browser on my phone and laptop so it obviously isn't down but I can't log into the app.
Anyone else seeing the same?

To check it wasn't an issue with my phone, I installed the app on my work Android phone but get the same error message.
I did contact support via the chat facility and went through all the re-start instructions again to no avail and was just told to "try again in a couple of hours".
I've done this but no joy
