Charge HR no longer syncing with app since update

My Charge was working just fine all day yesterday, synced up fine, phone found it fine. Then the update happened and....nothing. App can't find the Charge HR despite everything I have done: Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset the Charge, disconnected the device from my account and tried to reconnect. Now it can't connect because it can't find Bluetooth. (And yes, I doublechecked, Bluetooth and location services are both on). This update has completely broken everything!!!

Yup, when you do get it to connect it now does not do resting heart rate eithet

After doing ALL those steps, I then had to reboot my phone to get it to reconnect. UGH

I'd like to add that you can try to restart your Charge HR by following the steps provided in this thread and make sure to follow the process in here to make sure it sync all your stats correctly.
