I have tried to reset the Bluetooth on my Samsung Galaxy 7 phone, power off and on the HR, delete the App and re-download it. I have no idea why but this stopped syncing March 9th and hasn't worked since. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! 🙂

I've been having the same issues, and have tried everything suggested also. Seems like the last update had a bug, and now I can't track anything from my app

@gwenniehartley @SouthernSassy @tl3006 Are you getting any specific error messages when going through this troubleshooting workflow? If so, what are the specific error messages and what are you seeing on the Android device's display as well as on the Charge HR trackers display? Screenshots/pictures are always appreciated!

It seems to be pretty common. Ive contacted fitbit and they reckon there is nothing wrong. I pointed them in the direction of these forums....
At what point do we give up and return them. 😊

My phone and my computer can not locate the fitbit. At all. I can't even sync it with my computer. This seems to be common just by reading other threads and the responses from people to mine. Obviously fit bit needs to be fixing the problem or replacing their product because they aren't cheap and I will NOT be purchasing another one if I can't find some resolution to this.

If they can't fix this or offer to replace it, I won't be purchasing anything else from them and will tell everyone I know not to waste their money. This many complaints it's clearly an issue on their end

I had the same problem and a just rebooted my fitbit, it now syncs!!
Plug your fitbit into your pc or whatever you usually plug it into, when the battery symbol comes up press and hold the side button for about 10-12 seconds (message should show up on screen, think its just the fitbit name and a number, wasnt wearing my glasses) anyway you then release the button, unplug your fitbit then try syncing again, it worked for me😊

Sorry it didn't work for you I turned my fit bit off for about an hour (as just rebooting didn't work) and now it works. Hope you get an answer there is nothing more frustrating.

My phone keeps not being able to find the device. What seems to work temporarily is to turn off the WiFi and restart the phone. Which works for a while, and then I have to do it all over again. (Samsung Galaxy 4 and Charge HR). (and yes, before that, I'd tried running the Fitbit out of juice, tried rebooting, tried uninstalling/reinstalling, turn the Bluetooth off and on - also it's the only bluetooth device attached to my phone; none of that worked). it all started about two weeks ago....

@pers1stence, have you tried just leaving WiFi off and syncing the tracker? Many phones, and Samsung in particular, have a conflict between WiFi and Bluetooth. Also, download/install the new Android app version 2.45, then shut down the phone and start it again. See if that improves syncing.

Yes, I have tried just leaving the WiFi off and syncing. It doesn't work. And i can't leave the WiFi off all of the time. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, which should have included the updates in the re-install. Thanks.
