Charge HR not connecting to Samsung S10

Hi all. I have been gifted a charge HR after my fiend bought a new fitbit. I have been trying to connect it to my Samsung s10 but the setup keeps timing out. Is this fitbit no longer compatible with the Samsung S10?

Congrats on your Charge HR and thanks for sharing that the set up process isn't completing. Let me clarify that the Fitbit app is compatible with your Samsung Galaxy S10. To work on this together, let me suggest to try the following steps:

 

  1. Remove your Charge HR from the Bluetooth settings. If your friend's phone is nearby, please suggest them to remove the tracker from their phone's Bluetooth settings.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  3. On your phone settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Choose your Charge HR and follow the onscreen instructions.
