Charge HR not recognised by phone after phone installed update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
My Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini installed a few updates a few days ago, changing from 4.2.1 to 5.1.1.
Ever since then my Charge HR failed to sync with my phone. To try to get it to work again, I have done the following things without success...:
1. Unpaired Fitbit to phone's bluetooth BUT phone does not even register Fitbit on bluetooth anymore
2. Uninstalled Fitbit app and reinstalled it again
3. Cleared cache on phone
4. Whilst charging Fitbit, I did a basic reset
5. I have also done a factory reset on Fitbit
6. Deleted Fitbit off phone app to 'start from scratch' but phone fails to locate Fitbit at all
7. After factory reset of Fitbit, it did begin to appear on phone's bluetooth devices BUT when trying to pair it either says 'Charge HR failed to communicate' or 'Pairing rejected by Charge HR' - something like that anyway

...any suggestions?! Only had my Fitbit a month and this is VERY annoying... refund is looking the way forward unless someone can think of something I'm failing to try!!

Very welcome to the Community @ATribe and thanks for sharing all the steps you already tried. Sometimes Fitbit trackers get locked in the middle of the Firmware Update. So, lets try to finish this process with your computer by following the instructions here "How do I update my tracker?" and after that try to clear your Fitbit app Browser Cache by logging out from Fitbit app, go to your phone settings, find the Fitbit app, tap on Clear Cache, then Clear Data and Close the app, after that log back into the Fitbit app and try to sync your Charge HR.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes! Smiley Wink

Hello,

I've tried your suggestion and it didn't work!

Unfortunately another thing I tried to do the other day was I deleted my Fitbit completely off my Fitbit application, in an attempt to restart the whole process up again. However, now when I try to find it on the app, I get this message:

'Not working?

1. If there are other trackers nearby, move them away

2. Make sure your Charge HR is nearby

3. If your Charge HR doesn't turn on when you press and hold its button, charge it'

Not sure what else to do as I'm doing all of those three things! My phone simply doesn't detect my Fitbit anymore...

Thanks for your update @ATribe! At this point, let me recommend to contact Costumer Support and I'm sure they are going to further investigate this issue and find a quick solution for you. Cat Embarassed
