It's about authority,
If this is the only dashboard I can chose.
Fitbit is going in a box.
It's not a discussion, and there is not argument ...
I chose to not allow Fitbit to have authority over me.
It's much easier to uninstall, that fight

Sorry to see you go, @klbradsha. I notice that you posted the same message on both the iOS app and Android app forums - did you use both, and didn't like either one?

They don't care. They got your money and your purchase was added to their sales report. Your opinion no longer matters for them: they've got what they wanted from you and they can disregard it.

@klbradsha in what way does an app have authirity over you. Why did you give a peice of coding permission to rule your life?

If Fitbit doesn't change the dashboard, they can't add new features. It's that simple. I'll give you two examples:
These were not available on the old dashboard. They are available in the new. Even if Fitbit gave you an option to keep the old dashboard, it would mean that as they're adding new features, you'll be left without them. Maybe you are fine with never getting a new feature on your dashboard, but I imagine that most folks would not be... You can't improve things without changing them. Look at what happened to Blockbuster; they refused to change and now they're out of business.
You've said more than once that you don't want to discuss and that's fine. You do mention that you don't like the new dashboard, you don't say which elements of it you don't like. This is like having someone cook dinner for you and you just say, "I don't like it" without giving any feedback as to why (too salty, too spicy, don't like fish, etc.). How can they hope to improve it?
I'm not asking you to discuss and disclose, but at least try to understand that Fitbit can't possibly know what to fix if you don't tell them what it is that you don't like. Pure and simple.

@PureEvil, you wrote: "Fitbit can't possibly know what to fix if you don't tell them what it is that you don't like."
Oh they do very well. They got a 40+ pages long thread of feedback on the new dashboard while it was still considered "in beta", they now have a 20+ pages long thread of feedback on the new dashboard after it's been made mandatory. All points that make people dislike it have been laid out there clearly and plainly, reiterated in many posts from many different users. Don't have any doubt, Fitbit knows very well what customers don't like about it.

First, I was specifically addressing @klbradsha on that last message, not you nor anyone else. I looked at his post history (7 posts) and he does not mention what he doesn't like. He just states that Fitbit is taking away his choice and he is unwilling to discuss it.
Second, I am on many of those threads. And honestly the vast majority of the 'feedback' was simply "I hate it"... with no real indication as to what they should change. Sure, there are a handful of instances of useful comments like:
"the older dashboard changed the colors on the gauges as you got closer to your goal"
But generally, it was simply (to put it bluntly) a whole lot of this:
Finally, the most effective way to get Fitbit to notice is not for ten people to keep posting message after message on the same thread hoping that they will simply be overwhelmed by the size of the thread. That just means that ten people think it's really, REALLY important. It may make you feel better, but it's unlikely to get Fitbit to notice.
The most effective way for Fitbit to notice is for the users (like you) to find the feature suggestions and vote for them. And I'm not talking about a feature suggestion like "put everything back the way it was". No, that's a non-starter. However, if you find that you want the ability to see previous days with all tiles, voila there's a feature suggestion for that.
If everyone thinks that it is broken, why does it only have 153 votes? There are many feature suggestions that have far more votes. Want this changed? Vote and get your friends to vote. The length of the thread is just noise.

The setup of the new dashboard came from a very popular suggestion in the same feature request forum.
