My Versa hasn't synced since yesterday and today get a clock error, telling me to choose new clock face. Phone can't connect to Versa. Restarted Versa and phone, restarted bluetooth, force stopped app...nothing works. How can I get it to connect?

Welcome to the Forums @Not_techy.
Thanks for bringing this up and listing everything that you have tried.
In this case I'd like to ask you what phone is it that you are using to try and sync your Versa? What Android version is that phone running? Also, do you get some sort of error message when you try to sync?
I look forward to your reply.

Thanks @LanuzaFitbit . I have a Galaxy 8 and it is running version 9. After "looking" for my Fitbit for awhile it says I am having bluetooth issues, but I have restarted bluetooth 3 times and other paired items are working fine with my phone.

Hello @Not_techy.
Thanks for reaching back with those details.
Our team is aware of an issue with Android 9 that is leading to syncing issues. It is being worked on but please know that we do not have any details on the situation at this point.
There are some steps that have helped other users, perhaps you could give them a try. First, turn off Background Restrictions/Limitations: Phone settings > Apps & Notifications > Fitbit app > Background restrictions or Background limits.
Then, disable battery limitations:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Advanced > Battery > Battery optimization
- Change view to All apps
- Search for Fitbit app
- Choose Not optimized
Please keep me posted on how it goes or if you have any further questions.

@LanuzaFitbit thanks for trying to help. My phone was already set this way. I guess that means my Fitbit is useless for now. How can I find an ETA on when this will be fixed?
