Please hurry and support new Huawei P20 phones. By not keeping up and supporting newer phones, your rendering my Charge2 useless

Hello @Toxicrose, welcome to the Community forums.

Thanks for the feedback regarding the compatibility of the Huawei P20, as you mentioned, this phone is currently not listed as a compatible device to sync with the Fitbit app.

It'd be great to see more devices added to the list, particularly the most recent models are been requested by many users in the forums. At the moment we haven't received any updates about future compatibility of other devices, but Fitbit is constantly gathering feedback and working alongside manufacturers to include other phone models in compatible list.

Thanks for providing your feedback.

Unfortunately if new updates don't come soon. Users are going to buy other
makes or not use Fitbit at all. And that's a shame.

Thanks for the reply and all the feedback @Toxicrose, the most recent models are still being tested for compatibility, but I'd still recommend that you try all the steps listed here, they have been useful to other users experiencing syncing problems. Just keep in mind that for the moment it can't be guaranteed that syncing and other features will work properly.

This is really disappointing, I was planning on picking up 2 versas today for my wife and I but she has a P20 and I have a P20 Pro.  Any update on these issues being resolved?

Yes. Fitbit must have got straight on it. Now fully working. App a bit
slow, but it works. I'm sure they'll speed it up with updates.

At the moment it can't be guaranteed that it'll always work properly @dpgx, but some users have reported they've been able to sync without any trouble.

@Toxicrose, thanks for the update, it's good to know you're able to sync your data. Smiley Happy

Really disappointed - just purchased a Huawei P20 pro only to discover it is not compatible with my versa!  It didn't even occur to me that a new phone would not be compatible with a Bluetooth device!  Do I try and return the phone and go back to an iPhone that, strangely enough, Is compatible with the versa even though its in direct competition with the apple watch! Or has Fitbit and Huawei got immediate plans to rectify this?

Hello @KatieJoT, and welcome to the Community forums.

Thank you for your inquiry and your feedback about the compatibility of Fitbit devices. Fitbit is constantly working to include more devices on the list.

The model that's not currently compatible to sync with the Fitbit app is the Huawei P20, but the Huawei P20 Pro that you've mentioned is actually listed as compatible, you can check the complete and updated list in this article.

Could you please confirm if you're experiencing any trouble to sync your data or to receive notifications?

Keep me posted.

I have a P20 and it does work, although syncing is a pain in the butt. So
needs more improvement.

Hi - it worked for a day and now has kicked the versa off and won't re sync.  Any help or advice would be appreciated as heading towards the decision that either the versa or the phone will have to go! 😞

Don't be so hasty to get rid of you P20. I'm loving my phone. Although
now the new charge 3 is out I'm having trouble syncing myself. Not heard
of the verser, is that a Fitbit watch?

Hi, new to the Fitbit, but I have a P20 and it is not sending notification to my Charge 3, am I missing something or should it work?

Hi @DavideFitbit

So update so far.  Able to sync versa to Huawai P20 Pro. However it does not sync all the time and when I go on the fitbit app to sync watch it "looks" for it for a while and then says it can't find it! I am struggling to work out what I am doing wrong and it is driving me slightly crazy 😵

Hello @Toxicrose, it's great to know that you're able to sync with the Huawei P20 model, thank you for the update. With the phones that are not yet listed here as compatible, it's not possible to guarantee they will always work properly. But many users have indeed mentioned that they've been able to sync regularly without any problem.

Thank you for the responses @KatieJoT, before sending your information to the Customer Support team, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed in this article?

Welcome to the Community forums @Nicsar, the Huawei P20 is not currently listed as a compatible device and it wouldn't be possible to guarantee that it'll always work properly, the specific model that is compatible at the moment is the Huawei P20 Pro. However, some users have been able to received notifications by following the steps listed in this article

I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
