Compatibility with Galaxy S9 and S9Plus

When will the Versa be officially supported for the Galaxy S9 and S9 plus as these phones have been out awhile?  I am hoping the phone music control will be fixed as you can connect to the device in bluetooth as a "legacy mode" but then sync doesn't work right often.  If I pair it the standard way, sync never has issues but then you don't have music control on the phone via Versa.

 

I have a galaxy sport smartwatch and you pair it once with the phone and then it syncs and controls the music that you play on your smartphones while at the gym so you can use your watch to change tracks.  This is what my wife is hoping for with the Versa, any suggestions?

Yes it defies logic that the Versa isn't compatible with the Galaxy S9 or S9+.  Not only that but my Versa was working great with my S9 until Fitbit did their last update...now spotty sync with app and no notifications. Had Versa for 45 days so I can't return.  Versa is 4th model Fitbit that I've owned but will be my last.
