Welcome to the Community Forums @nan-san, thanks for your post.

Let me share with you that we are always working and testing Android devices to ensure that such devices meet all the requirements to be compatible with our products and services. As it turns out, your Samsung Galaxy A20 is still not under our list of compatible devices, just as this help article states: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?.

My best recommendation for you will be to keep your Fitbit app, Android mobile device and Alta HR up to date. Also, please constantly check our compatibility list. To better assist you, even though your mobile device is not compatible, can you please let me know which difficulties you're experiencing?

Looking forward to your reply. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you, my main problem is that the fitbit will not pair with my bluetooth so I guess I will just have to wait until the A20 hits your list of compatible devices - a bit disappointing but that is life

You're welcome @nan-san, your reply is appreciated. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you, sorry for the inconvenience you went through with your Samsung Galaxy A20. If you're unable to connect the Bluetooth of your phone with your Alta HR, this means that you're having some syncing difficulties or your concern is more focused on All-day sync and notifications? The reason why I want to gather more information is because even though the mobile device under discussion is not compatible, some troubleshooting steps may work.

Keep me posted.

Hi I am so frustrated with my Alta HR today I was able to sink at 9:30 am and since then it continually says "no device found - can't update" - I get this quite often but now it is wearing me down.  I do not understand what is so different with a new phone that Fitbit can't ensure connection in finding a device - I presume new models are being made and therefore if one does not want to do their head in they have to simply purchase an updated fitbit - I am not happy with this at all.

I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you, sorry for the inconvenience. Can you please let me know if you already tried the syncing process with a compatible device instead? You can also sync with your computer. This way we will be able to determine if the compatibility concern of your Samsung Galaxy A20 is the root cause of the difficulties that you're experiencing.

I'll be around.

Welcome to the Community Forums @mcs_mcs.

Thanks for your post. The reason why I haven't specified such information is because I can't confirm when or if the Samsung Galaxy A20 will be added to our compatibility list, reason why I recommend to constantly check the compatibility list and keep the Fitbit app up to date.

@LostEchoes Your willingness to help is appreciated, thanks for sharing such helpful information in your post.

Hi @Bebyt2015, welcome to the Community Forums!

Even though your mobile device isn't compatible as mentioned on previous posts, please check the information that's specified on How do I set up my Fitbit device? and then try the troubleshooting steps from our help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Thanks for your reply @Bebyt2015.

I appreciate your effort troubleshooting your device. I'd like to let you know that this might be occurring due to the fact that the Samsung Galaxy A20 is not compatible. Can you please try the setup process with a compatible device instead? You can also try to setup with a computer and then to sync with your phone.

Keep me posted please.

Hi Bebyt2015,

Not sure if this will help you or not but my charge 2 wouldn't connect to my A10 until yesterday.

Some posts were saying about a Samsung software update fixing the issue. Checked for an update and downloaded yesterday, then removed my fitbit from account and set it back up again as if it was new and it has worked! Not sure if you have tried this but if you haven't then fingers crossed that it does.
