Good to see this compatible device list.

Upgraded myself to a new android phone, only to be disappointed that it isn't compatible with my fitbit charge 2. Any idea when the Samsung J3 will be added to this list? Yours hopefully.

@Suzannah  Compatibility List.....If Fitbit don't have your phone there I see the list of phones as purely what they have tested. There are so many phone variables out there. My current Sony Android phone is not on the list as were my two previous. The last Sony phone on the Fitbit list was released in 2013..

For what I do all of my Fitbits work on my phone. I don't use music. So I see the list as a compatibility list, of tested phones where Fitbit may have found some issues of functionality with their products. My Sony OS was upgraded to V8.0.0 last week and I have more issues picking up the minor changes they have made in presentation etc..

Have you updated your Android App to V2.66 on your phone and what type of results are you getting with your Fitbit. ?

@SuzannahIf your upgrade is for the Android OS that is normally advised to you by your phone manufacturer.  That came to me as an upgrade message via the Sony link. I notice even though I have V8.0.0 others reporting in the posts have V8.1

If it's to get Fitbit App V2.66, that's from the Google Play Store. V2.66 came to me the day it was released, Version 2.65.1,  I had to wait a week..

I have an LG G6 and it is not listed as compatible, yet worked just fine with my charge 2 over the past year until a weak ago. Finally called support today and their solution was to get a new phone. But unless I was a Samsung S8, none of the newest Android phones are compatible. I am so disappointed in Fitbit right now. What a terrible customer service experience. If they are not going to take Android compatibility seriously, then I'm going to research other trackers.

I have noticed that fitbit dosent update there list they only add the most expensive models to the list and every single iPhone. I refuse to own an iPhone and I'm not spending a fortune on a s8 or s7 from samsung however luckily for my I sync my fitbit on an older samsung galaxy tab 4 wish it could sync with my samsung j3 thats not $800 or $1000 ridiculous forcing you to buy an expensive phone in order to even sync your fitbit

I'm not sure why, but I have a 7edge phone and I can't get my phone to pair with my tracker at all. It recognizes it, I put in the 4 digit Passcode and then it just spins and spins. Unable to connect. From what I can tell Fitbit offers no customer support.  This POS is going back in the box and I will buy a different better quality brand.

My 7edge won't even pair with it. My phone recognizes the Tracker, but I can't get the app to connect to it. I'm returnibg.

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community and for sharing the list of Compatible devices. There are many Android devices in the market and every brand has his own variations, in addition there are always new ones coming out. So while we can’t test them all, we do take this seriously and continue working towards adding more to our official supported devices list.

If the device you are using is not listed in our official list of supported devices, always feel free to download the Fitbit app and tested out, however keep in ind the app is not optimized to run under the device specification in question so we cannot guarantee the behavior of the app regarding its features.

I appreciate your feedback and I understand many of you are eager to see more devices in our list. Rest assure we are working on this, however we do not have an estimated timeframe when a device is going to be compatible.

See you later and if I got more updates I will let you know.

So, now that the Samsung S7 is starting to be phased out and the Google pixel is not on the market anymore, the only approved android device available on the market from that list, of all the existing Android devices, is the Samsung S8. Do you think that your quoted statement is fair??
