I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which I see is now compatible, however, I am not able to receive call notifications and texts....is there something more I have to do in order to get this to work? Thanks!

I am not sure the purpose of this list vs going to the Compatible Device List and looking up the desired phone/tablet. Is it worth the effort to update it weekly....dunno.

A warm welcome to the Forums @Bladesmom, @Dragonfruit thanks for the list and @USAF-Larry for stopping by.
I think it would be better if you can take a look at our list of compatible mobile devices since there you just need to enter which phone you have and it will tell you if it is compatible or not. Now about the inconvenience you have with your notifications, I recommend following the instructions provided by @MarreFitbit in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.
Let me know the outcome.

I think all the Huawei models are more than 2 years old. Do you think any of us Huawei owners are ever going to get a compatible app? Does anyone understand what the problem is?

Audited list as of 28th March, nil changes since I began this process on 15th March.
I wonder when new devices were last added, perhaps it was a while back. Clearly new devices are not being added to the compatibility list on a regular basis.

It seems to me that they just don't care about Android support at all, unless you have the latest Samsung. We all get the same old response and nothing happens.

Unfortunately in the vast majority of cases it will tell you that your Android phone is incompatible...😒

Thanks again Dragonfruit. I have directly asked Fitbit how many new Android phones have been added to the compatible devices list in the last six months and they say they don't have any information!! I think we can assume that number is zero.
I can't believe such a high profile brand would treat their customers this way. The trackers are marketed as compatible with "computers and 200+ mobile devices" .
It is particularly shocking that they have no plans to update the Flex 2 firmware. This device has no screen so there's no way of knowing your step count beyond the 4 LEDs. They released this in the autumn with an Android logo on the packaging knowing full well that it WON'T WORK WITH MOST NEW ANDROID HANDSETS. it's not unreasonable to assume that a new phone which exceeds the minimum requirements will work.
I've been doing my own checking and last week only 4 out of 55 Android phones from Carphone Warehouse were compatible- the most expensive Samsung models!
I've now been blocked from their Facebook page for publicising this.Anyone else care to take on the challenge...?

Twitter (and Facebook but they've blocked me twice!).
I just received this reply: We are working closely with phone manufacturers
and investing heavily in developing support for more phones. Rest assured
that our team will continually work to make the Fitbit app compatible with
an ever-growing list of mobile devices in the market. We appreciate your
continued interest in Fitbit products, and we hope to continue expanding
our reach to more users than ever. We appreciate your continued patience.
My continued patience is non-existent!

The purpose of updating this list weekly is to demonstrate the glacial pace of adding new devices. However, I'm sure that the same results could be obtained by updating this list monthly, as it does not appear that many devices are being added, if any. For examples, you can see that the Google and Motorola phones which have dates appended all say 2013 or 2014.
