Charge 3, Fitbit APP

1. Track logged in map has about 1KM away from the place. This happened on my Iphone 6 plus, Iphone 6s plus, Nokia X7. But the track logged from Iphone actually show correct on my Nokia 7.

2. In Android smart phone(Huawei P30 Pro, and Nokia X7), once screen is off, GPS tracking stopped. This affects logging your running event.

3. In Android smart phone, auto sync data doesn't happen. You need to open the App, and take long time to way App to sync data from Charge 3.

4. GPS connection to smart phone doesn't work well, it happened in a high possibility you need to restart Fitbit App, or Bluetooth on smart phone, no matter IOS or Android. That makes me feel anxious when I want to start running immediately but I can't, and I am just standing there for several minutes like a stature.

5. Not sure "run detect" works once GPS off. Just yesterday, I started run with "use phone GPS off", and logging stopped automatically, and 30minutes running was not detected.

In summary, Fitbit disappointed me again.

Hello @WangXW your points 2,3, and 4 could be caused by the same thing.

On your phone go to settings, apps, Fitbit, power, make sure that the phones power management for Fitbit is turned off. If not then when the app is sent to the background the phone will shut the app sown.

With point 1 I'm not sure what your saying.

With point 5 their is a gps setting for auto detected runs and a second gps setting for manually started runs.

Hi Rich, thanks for your comments.

For issu1, it like this, see below picture. Picture was taken from iphone 6s plus, several months ago. currently, I don't see it on my Huawei P30 pro now. No interesting to go back iphone to have a test.

For issue 2,3,4, I tried what you recommended, like below picture,

But it still doesn't help a lot. If you think my setting here is still wrong, appreciate if you can paste a picture.

Based on such setting, I tried this morning, with phone screen on, GPS tracking without problem, once phone screen was off, charge 3 lost GPS tracking. See below running log

First 3km, phone screen was on, last 3km, phone screen was off.

Is this an iPhone or android that your asking about?

On my android pie it is phone settings, Apps, Fitbit, Battery.

Allow background usage and not optimized. Screenshot_20190710-230911_Settings.jpg
