new blaze I have a Samsung s8. All fine. Went to go for a run this morning and my blaze won't connect to my phone to track via gps.

I've checked the notifications are on (not that I get them to my fitbit) the GPS on my phone is on, my app is running in the background. My blaze is conncted to my phone via blue tooth. I've restarted my phone. Still it doesn't connect.

I went into setting on the fitbit app, then exercise and run and it comes up 15 mins run but underneath it say GPS won' be turned on. What can I do??

Hi there @Jent8211, nice to have you here as a new member of the FItbit Community! I was reading the issue you are experiencing with the Connected GPS feature. Have you tried the new version of the Fitbit app? If you haven't please search in your google play if there is a new version. For more details please refer to: Android app version 2.63 is now available - 12/12.

Regardless if you installed a new version of the Fitbit app, try the following steps in conjunction:

Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Hello there @Jent8211, thank you for keep me posted. My apologies for not updating your thread lately and thank you for share with me all is On and your GPS is working perfectly with your Samsung Health app.

Due to the case your GPS is working great with other apps, I'm wondering if this behavior is happening with other exercises beside running? In some scenarios a weak GPS signal on your mobile device is often caused by environmental factors such as tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, or even thick cloud cover. All of these can interrupt the connection between your tracker and GPS satellites.

Now I'm glad to hear you were in contact with our customer support. I wasn't sure if the issue was persisting by reading your post, so I was happy to reach out to our Support Team and they were able to confirm that they've received your latest response. They confirmed the issue was resolved already

See you later. Let me know if you have other questions.
