Connected GPS run won't record

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It's happened a few times now that a connected GPS run won't actually save after pressing finish. Now I've noticed that the Fitbit app has updated yesterday and I haven't rebooted my phone since. Could that be the issue? Is there a way to still retrieve the run with GPS coordinates within my account?

Hello @-8-.

I'd like to help you out to figure this out.

Do you mean that the maps do not show up or that the run itself won't be synced to your account? If it is the former then I'd like to let you know that our team is well aware of the situation and that as soon as we have any news on the matter we'll be sure to let everyone know.

If it is the latter, then please do try to restart your phone and force close the app. That should help in getting everything to work correctly once again.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Hi @LanuzaFitbit

The map won't show up and it's without all the associated info a connected GPS run gives. Only the run duration and calories are recorded, but that's probably because of my Alta's automatic activity tracking that synced a couple of minutes after the run.

Hello @-8-.

Thanks for letting me know.

I'd like to ask, because the Alta doesn't have any Connected GPS features. Are you using multiple Fitbits at the same time or are you tracking the GPS data with your phone?

Let me know if you have any further questions. Look forward to your reply.
