I have read the other posts regarding this problem being solved, and this was working fine for me until today. I went for a run this morning, and the connected GPS notification has been on my phone all day today and has destroyed my battery.
I have restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned off the GPS feature in the website dashboard... the notification will not go away and is draining my battery like crazy. Please tell me how to turn this feature off.

Hey @sratts, welcome to the Community.
I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Charge 3 board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.
Thanks for troubleshooting this "Connected GPS" issue by yourself. As you mentioned, it appears with the most recent Fitbit app - version 2.89, this issue has now been resolved. If you haven't already, please make sure you update the Fitbit app. With this app version, you should no longer see the "Connected GPS is running" message in the Android status bar.
Let me know how it goes.

Yes, I am using version 2.89. I would almost guess that it’s this version that caused the problem again. This problem is not resolved.
