Connection difficulties with Versa 2 and Asus Zenfone 5Z

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

After the initial set up, the notifications on my Versa 2 will work fine, they'll pop up, I'll be able to reply. But then after the fitbit app closes or after my phone dies, the notifications completely stop working even if the all day sync is on. I've just been uninstalling and reinstalling the app over and over again every time this issue happens. I'm really sad that the most exciting part of this watch isn't even working.

First, I'd like to appreciate your patience with this situation and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting too, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. 

 

In regards the syncing issue, please try the steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. Keep in mind that the Asus Zenfone 5Z is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience connection difficulties with it.
