Connection difficulties with Versa Lite

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I received a Versa lite for Christmas.  I have the Fitbit 1.  I have the watch paired with my phone, but it will not connect to it.  I have done all the things recommend but can't get it to work.  What else do I need to do?  Thanks.

Hi @Estan1, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using with your new Versa Lite? When you say that the device is paired but it will not connect, you mean that the setup process was completed but you're unable to sync it with your account? Or you're experiencing connection difficulties with the Bluetooth of your phone and one of the features of your Fitbit? More details will be appreciated.

Looking forward to your reply.

My phone is a Motorola moto e5. Android 8.1.0. I had trouble setting the
versa up because they said the phone is not completely compatable. It
appears to be working okay though. I went through my fitness pal and
disconnected and reconnected the Fitbit app. Mfp says it works with all
Fitbit trackers but maybe it doesn't include the Versa. I'd like to get my
food linked though. Thanks

Your update is appreciated @Estan1, sorry for the delayed reply.

I appreciate the details that were shared with me. As it turns out, the Motorola Moto E5 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with it. However, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check the information and steps that are specified on: How do I set up and troubleshoot apps on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.
