Why does my android subtract my daily steps from my friends. I went from 41,000 steps to 32,325 today. Ugh

Hello, @CECELIA57! Thanks for joining us! So the total steps that you see on your friends leaderboard is the total addition of the last 6 days and the current day.
Let me know if you have any question.

I had a few steps vanish from my dashboard last night. I was walking (with only 10 minutes or so to go in the day), when it went off that I met my goal. I sync'd the device and I was actually over my steps by about 100 steps with a minute until the day ended. I decided not to do anything, when my day reset, I looked and it showed I was UNDER my step goal the day before all of a sudden.
For example: When I sync'd it, it showed 5,109 steps for the day and was green.
When it sync'd at midnight, it showed I walked 4,991 steps for the day and was orange again. 😕
So between midnight and getting my steps in, I lost 118 steps. Some of them (91 of them) ended up on today's count, somehow. 😕
It was a one time thing, but not sure how much it's happend to people in the past.
Thanks, and sorry to jump on this topic, the title was the same as what I would've put so thought they could be connected somehow.

Hey, @ValerieAnne! It is nice to have you here. Are you logging activities by any chance? This may decrease your step count. Also do you sync your tracker daily? If you don't then your track will lose the correct time and could assign your steps on a different day once you sync. I recommend you take a look at this post that provides information about this very detailed.
Also, make sure that you have the timezone correct in your settings page. You can try to restart your tracker as well, just in case there are any internal issues going on.
Keep me posted!
